A. Y. JACKSON SOCCER CLUB

PC Iulian Done and other officers from 33 Division run another weekly soccer club where they teach 30 youth soccer drills and participate in games. The officers and youth also participated in the Police Games this past June where they were able to compete with other teams.

Below is a quote from a program participant.

“Dear Toronto Police Department, Thank you very much for coming to supervise us while we got a chance to play soccer and other sports after school. It was a great experience for many of us and we would appreciate it if this trend could continue on for the many years to come at A.Y. Jackson. Many people enjoyed it and had an amazing time playing soccer with and against the police supervisors. Also, we would like to thank the police for bringing snacks and water for us, to ensure that we wouldn’t get too hungry or thirsty.”
